Issues with Filters and Duplicate Products After Elastic Search Upgrade (Release 325)

Resolved

As part of Release 325, we upgraded Elastic Search — the technology used in SyncForce for searching and filtering within the Product Catalog and Media Library.

While all tests on our staging environment completed successfully, the live rollout revealed index-related issues in some customer environments. These issues led to:
- Missing filters during search and filtering
- Duplicate products appearing in product listings

Please note that this was strictly an indexing issue. There was no impact on data integrity — no data was lost or corrupted.

To resolve the issue, the affected indexes were cleared and fully rebuilt. As a result, both the Product Catalog and Media Library are now functioning as expected.
